Hidden Gem
Larger than average room with very comfy beds, decent breakfast as part of the price. Less than 5 minutes drive from the JR station and with adequate free parking, this hotel was a hidden gem. Although the staff spoke no English there was nothing that Google Translate and a smile couldn't overcome. We were the only westerners in the hotel, seems like this one's a locals-only secret, but it shouldn't be.
Nothing, but it has some quirks. Rooms are only cleaned once a week on longer stays (or upon request), and even though kids under 18 can stay for free, they must share their parents' or grandparents' bed to do so.

Perfect for a night in Fukuyama
Ease of check-in. Great breakfast. All as clean and efficient as you'd expect. The great view was a wonderful surprise, and the breakfast was fantastic.

value for money was excellent because kids are not chargeable. rooms were well designed and cleaned. Amenities were not cheap. Breakfast was various and tasty.
